Vibrant Autumn Wedding at Dode Church & Owl’s Castle Barn, Kent

Ever since meeting Charlotte & Matt for our pre-wedding consultation and engagement shoot, I knew I was in for a treat on their big day, and they did not disappoint. These two are such a laugh, there is never a dull moment between them, and their love for each other is apparent. For my last wedding of the year, they made sure I went out with a bang!

The vivid autumn colours of the Kent countryside made for a stunning backdrop for their rustic-styled wedding, and The Lost Village of Code was the perfect place for their ceremony. Despite the chill in the air, the barn-like church was warm and cosy, and set the stage for their big day.

Charlotte & Matt were great in front of the camera; I loved how excited Charlotte got when Matt pulled the flare out and it made for some epic shots!

Afterwards, we headed onward to Owl’s Castle Barn; which they had spent days decorating with personal touches - it looked awesome! I think it’s so important for your day to be as much about YOU as possible; the little inside jokes and old photos around the reception venue and the stories your groomsmen “promised” he wouldn’t bring up in his speech…

Thanks to Charlotte & Matt for rounding-off what has been an awesome year of weddings!
